About Pediatric Nutrition
Some children need more than mealtimes can deliver. Pediatric nutrition formulas provide complete, balanced nutrition for kids who are growing slowly, recovering from illness, managing a condition that makes eating difficult, or fed through a feeding tube. Many work both ways — sipped as an oral supplement or run through a G-tube or NG-tube — and several are complete enough to serve as a child's sole source of nutrition. Your pediatrician or dietitian will determine what your child needs and how much. From there, your patient coordinator obtains the Letter of Medical Necessity, files with TRICARE, and keeps monthly refills arriving free at your door.
