About Thickeners
For some babies and children, thin liquids are hard to swallow safely. Feeding thickeners adjust the consistency of formula, breast milk, or other liquids to a texture that's easier and safer to manage, often as part of the care plan for children with dysphagia, severe reflux, or aspiration risk. Because thickening changes how a child feeds, it should always follow guidance from your pediatrician, feeding specialist, or speech-language pathologist on the right product and consistency. Once that's set, we handle the Letter of Medical Necessity and TRICARE authorization, and ship your refills free each month. The thickeners on this page are TRICARE-covered for qualifying children.
