Similac NeoSure Ready to Feed
Similac NeoSure is a 22 Cal/fl oz, iron-fortified infant formula with enriched nutrition for babies who were born prematurely, designed for use as a preterm post-discharge formula. It provides increased protein, vitamins, minerals, and calories compared to term infant formula to support catch-up growth, along with the OptiGRO blend of DHA, lutein, and vitamin E. It should be used under medical supervision.
The formula is milk- and soy-based (made with dairy ingredients and containing soy). This spec sheet covers the ready-to-feed liquid bottle presentation.
- OptiGRO blend: Abbott's blend of DHA, lutein, and vitamin E — DHA for brain and eye development, lutein for eye health, and vitamin E for developing cells.
- Enriched nutrition for catch-up growth:* Increased protein, vitamins, minerals, and calories compared to term infant formula, to support growth. *Compared to term infant formula.
- Bone support: Calcium and phosphorus for growing bones.
- MCT fat source: 25% of the fat blend as medium-chain triglycerides, an easily digested and well-absorbed fat source.
- No artificial growth hormones:Milk from non-rbST-treated cows; no significant difference shown vs. rbST-treated.
- Dietary certifications: Gluten-free, halal, and kosher (made with dairy ingredients).
