PKU Periflex Junior Plus
PKU Periflex® Junior Plus is a phenylalanine-free, powdered medical food for the dietary management of phenylketonuria (PKU). It contains a balanced mix of essential and non-essential amino acids, carbohydrates (including fiber), fat (including DHA), vitamins, minerals, and trace elements. Its blend of soluble and insoluble fibers, including prebiotics, helps promote digestive health, and it provides DHA-a nutrient often lacking in the PKU diet. Available in Plain, Vanilla, Orange, and Berry flavors.
PKU Periflex® Junior Plus must be used under medical supervision. It is for oral and tube feeding, not for parenteral use, and is only suitable for individuals over 1 year of age with proven phenylketonuria (PKU).
